Do I need to be a member to do training?
Non-members can complete Bronze Medallion and First Aid courses. Membership is required for ongoing patrol duties and advanced courses.
What if I can't swim 400m in 9 minutes?
We offer swim development sessions. Many candidates improve with practice. Contact us for pre-course assessment and tips.
Are there age limits for courses?
Bronze Medallion: 15+, First Aid: 14+, IRB Crew: 17+. Nippers have age-appropriate water safety programs.
